A little side project I’ve been working on for a while….
After long days working as a Sales and Marketing Director, there’s nothing better than stepping outside. I love breathing in the fresh air and sitting in the garden. I enjoy being alongside nature and my hand-dug nature pond. My professional world is filled with emails, strategies, and growth plans. Yet, my heart belongs with the simple joys of nature.
I’ve decided to take the leap. I’m starting something I’ve dreamed about for a while. It is my own Tidy Garden business, just for locals. I’ll mostly work at the weekends—I still have my day job!!
It’s a (VERY) small venture. It combines my love for the outdoors. It’s an opportunity to make a difference in my local community. I’ll be covering Winnersh and the surrounding areas. I hope to make a real difference on even the smallest of jobs.
Why Tidy Gardening?
Life gets busy, and for many people, garden tasks can pile up. These jobs can feel overwhelming. It be an overgrown hedge or a neglected flower bed. The lawn needs a little TLC, or that path needs a tidy-up. That’s where I come in. The Tidy Garden business is about helping people reclaim their outdoor spaces. It makes gardening accessible for everyone. This is true even if they’re not as green-thumbed as they’d like to be.
I like to support those who find some gardening tasks challenging. This is due to time constraints, mobility issues, or simply not knowing where to start. There’s a special joy in helping someone rediscover the beauty of their garden. It also gives them a space to relax and thrive. Small tasks can have a huge impact. Simple actions like tidying up a corner or planting a few flowers change how someone feels about their outdoor space.
Balancing Work and Passion
Balancing a career in Sales and Marketing with a gardening business sounds like a juggling act. I’m embracing it with enthusiasm. By day, I’ll continue to craft strategies and grow businesses. In the evenings and on weekends, I’ll be out with my tools. I’ll help neighbours and friends bring their gardens back to life. It’s a way to stay grounded, recharge my energy, and stay connected to what matters most: people and nature.
The Road Ahead
Just like pitching a tent in the wild, there will be moments where things don’t go to plan. But with each challenge comes an opportunity to learn and grow—and I’m ready for it.
So, whether it’s trimming, tidying, or transforming an outdoor space, I’m here to help.
The Camping-Jedi seems to have found a new mission. I’m looking forward to bringing the same sense of adventure, care, and dedication to this next chapter.
If you’re local to Winnersh and surrounding areas, and you would like some help and support, get in touch.
I can assist you in creating and maintaining your special place.
I’ll soon create a logo, website and get another number, but until then I can be contacted in the normal way.
